Ruins generally have a beauty characterised by forlornness. Object fragments recovered from past, even a personal past allow us to alter the narrative if desired for the fact that there always is some information missing in such objects. Out of sight is definitely NOT out of mind. In fact out of sight is the exact birthplace of a new, possibly therapeutic narrative.
