slip-coated glaze structures, fired to achieve just the right amount of "collapse".
These were fired inside a container lined with fine grog,,which made the lower part look
even better than the top.

making, crushing and sorting out colored grog

trying to test out the best transparent body that can stand on its own,
yet collapse nicely without cracking if i want sheets of it fired flat.
the additives will let me check its viscosity and possibility
of bleeding colour from colored clay bits.I used a triaxial system for testing here.

got crazy trying to fabricate with glaze instead of clay!
it kept on failing me ,so i tried simpler forms just to check the flexability of forming...
didnt work for me.I tried casting it instead of constructing, failing at it again.
I wanted glaze structures covered with slip (encased between thin layers of clay)...I
made the lace-like structures especially to have more clay as structure,
but i couldnt cast successfully...some other day maybe!

embarrassed about the image, but it wasnt imortant at all.
I was tring to develop a paper thin translucent body which could take the painted mark..t
ried different systems of making image wth different materials.
worked pretty well!

different paperclay bodies in process

Fabricating metal box

I had developed this transluscent body that took fine paiting/transfer prinnting well.
For me recyclimg of written word as well as metals
(for that matter clay) was quite important.
I was making my presence felt on thin glassy/glossy sheets of clay which were allowed to
melt on top of more chunky clay shards that had a history of utility.
Once these "sheets" of reclaimed metal formed,
they were photographed casually to record thier birth,
and smashed and ready to be recycled again.
