Pindropdin is an artist collective based in Lahore,Pakistan. It was founded in 2017 by three artists making small  objects  and jewellery .Believing that intimate or wearable art objects cannot be appreciated without a wearer,the collective supports jewellers,makers or sort-of-makers by taking their work to the public in real space,in real light,and in real contexts.The name comes from the love of making dins and dropping pins.

Pindropdin's Manifesto

The collective's permanent and guest members believe that

• the natural site of wearable art is a throbbing warm body,not a white cold pedestal
• wearable art objects are best understood while they function in everyday settings
• impromptu is more enthralling than staged
• wearer even as model, is an  emotional and intelligent participant.A smart pedestal!
• art can be brought to public instead of asking people to come to art
• the wearer as well as the viewer can interpret our objects as they wish
• anybody can wear our work if they like it 
• we should create an appreciative community around our joint practices
• we should offer a platform for emerging makers
