Ossifying the "incident",the "happening" and the "given" is the idea behind BREVILOQUENCE;something that was just "said" to you!a message?a clue?an accident? I am not sure of the exact nature of this accident but I wish to capture the very first "word" that was "spoken" to me in its very original form.
The canvas I prepared was crisp,small,quiet geometric volumes composed together to become porcelain pendants. Surface of these was meant to capture the materiality of liquid transparent glaze and the accidental impressions that are "given".The following were the first celadon objects that I made during my residency at ICS, Kecskemet.

As the experiment proceeded,capturing of the "given" was no longer limited to the surface.The very process of fabricating that slip cast object was made more visible by using coloured slips in combination.This process recorded the actual movement of liquid inside a complex mould. Sometimes the thick liquid left 3D pour marks on the surface which were plain beautiful.
